Girikon discovered through a series of workshop with the client that there was a heavy reliance on Excel sheets. For the client Excel provided the flexibility required to deal with the large number of products, discount, price logic and ability to copy line items as required. The existing practices lacked standardization is an un- reliable process and was error prone.
Girikon found that business required the existing flexibility with a common system to ensure consistency of data and process.
Girikon performed analysis on the various integrations with the view of making effective changes to maximize the client’s investment.
Girikon team of Salesforce Consultants designed and developed a customized Salesforce CPQ to enable the flexibility and ensure the business adopted to the new Quotation process.
Girikon’s management of the product and cost data each with individual identification had to manage the data to ensure business continuity and adoption of the users.
Key Highlights and Features
Automation of the complex Quoting processes on the Salesforce platform, previously managed with using Excel spreadsheets which was found to be cumbersome.
Cost calculation logic from multiple excel sheets were merged into one view in Salesforce. Price rules, Product rules, Discount Schedule and Calculator API were also used.
Custom solution to maintain cost summary with multiple future inflations in one screen designed.
Healthcare Staffing Scenario
The Client, a large USA-based Healthcare Staffing firm with 800+ Salesforce users, was looking to strengthen its staffing business by replacing a generic, one-size-fits-all cloud-based application — bloated with redundant features — with a custom-fitted, highly automated Salesforce CRM ecosystem tailored precisely to their operational workflows.
The Challenge
The sheer enormity of the existing application — driven by several redundant, unused features — was failing to meet user experience expectations. End users demanded more automated ways of achieving business goals, but complex multi-screen navigation was actively lowering adoption rates and negatively impacting revenue. Compounding this, the organisation had several critical domain-specific integrations that needed to be rationalised and modernised to support efficient operations at scale.
The Girikon Team Solution
Girikon’s Salesforce Consultants conducted a series of structured discovery workshops to document the “as-is” business processes, identify redundant features, and isolate the must-have, frequently-used feature set. This foundation informed the design of a much simpler, easy-to-use, and highly automated Sales Cloud-based solution covering staffing orders, pay negotiations, order closures, and financial accounting.
Complex third-party integrations were architected and delivered across multiple fronts — including automated order entries from multiple websites via GetFyre, tax and per-diem benefit calculations (GSA & Paymycheck.info), customised Web-to-Lead conversions, and accounting and taxation feeds via QuickBooks. Automated professional document creation using SDocs, combined with DocuSign for e-signatures, streamlined credentialing and hospital submissions. Runtime bulk notifications and complex State-based minimum wage and burden compliance calculations were also implemented.
Intuitive public portals were built using Community Cloud Lightning to create a staff-facing interface that eliminated paper-based forms and reduced administrative overhead. Automated resume parsing for qualifications, domain skills, and work history further accelerated the recruitment cycle.
